CAB Health and Recovery Services – Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Services:  Outpatient substance abuse treatment (traditional and intensive outpatient therapy) including services for youth, women, DWI offenders, and family therapy groups for families and friends.  Includes special programs such as gamblers and aftercare prison groups.

Eligibility restrictions: Each client must first undergo an intake process

Fees:  Most insurances accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare; sliding scale fees if without insurance

Hours of operation:  Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00am, many evening groups available

Other Information:  Free parking available. The program serves all of the North Shore (East Boston to Cape Ann)

Tri City Mental Health and Retardation Center – Juvenile Diversion Program

Services:  Provides an early therapeutic alternative to criminal sentencing for first time adolescent offenders referred by the Lynn and Salem District Juvenile Courts.  This short term structured service offers individual and group counseling to adolescents and families as well as consultation and collaboration with school teachers and counselors.  The focus includes such topics as anger management, lethality assessment, AIDS risk reduction, and drug use prevention education
