Services:  Bridgewell offers the following services for individuals with disabilities:  residential services, affordable housing, homeless services, employment training and educational services, day habilitation, day rehabilitation, clinical services, childrens services, and recreational services                           

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; other hours for specific programs

 

Childen’s Law Center of Massachusetts – Legal Services/Education/Disability

Services: Offer direct representation to children in need of educational advocacy due to school discipline and/or special education needs

Ages Served: Children up to age 22    Languages Served:  All languages

Eligibility restrictions:  Representation provided to children whose families fall within 125% of the Federal Poverty guidelines and may accept cases on a discretionary basis if the family’s income level falls within 150% of the guidelines.

Fees:  Services provided free of charge

Greater Lynn Senior Services – Information and referral

Services:  GLSS provides a variety of services to seniors and disabled individuals.  The Information and referral staff helps seniors and their caregivers identify and access a wide range of available services including transportation, home care services, adult day health, nutrition and caregiver support services

Services:  Service and advocacy center run by and for people with disabilities, supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently; services include independent living skills training, peer counseling, information and referral, and advocacy and education

Services: An afternoon program open two afternoons per week providing supervised activities for DMR consumers

Ages Served:  6+                  Languages Served:  English, Espanol

Fees: $10 per afternoon

Hours of operation:  The afternoon program is held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Services: Services for mental retardation include respite care to individuals in social or recreational settings, companion services, individualized instruction, surrogacy and case management, overnight respite, homemaker services

Ages Served:  6+                  Languages Served:  English, Espanol

Eligibility restrictions: Clients can be referred to the agency through the Department of Mental Retardation or can choose a private pay option to receive services.

Fees: Vary depending on the individual, level of difficulty, time of service, distance, and miscellaneous costs.  Call for more information

Hours of operation:  Office hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; services scheduled on an individual basis
