Services: We offer shelter plus care, single room occupancy units, representative payee services, and mainstream choice voucher programs.  Housing services are for individuals with disabilities, the homeless, and individuals with a dual diagnosis

Services:  Transitional housing program for 8 homeless mothers up to age 22 and their children (1 to 2 children) able to live in their own apartment

Eligibility restrictions:  Homeless, young mothers with 1 to 2 children; maximum stay 2 years

Fees:  None

Hours of operation:  24 hour service

Other Information:  Must have a CCN Caseworker, be eligible for housing subsidy, be able to work or attend a job training/education program 

 

Help for Abused Women and their Children (HAWC)                Website:  www.helpabusedwomen.org

Services: The HAWC shelter provides a 3 month program that addresses the resident’s immediate safety, emotional, physical, and legal needs.  Staff stay in contact with families after they leave the shelter. 

Ages Served:  Adults must be 18+ to use shelter; no age restrictions for their minor children             

Languages Served:  English, Espanol 

Eligibility restrictions: Must be a victim of domestic violence

Fees:  All HAWC services are free

Services:  This program is designed to help residents live safely and independently in their own apartments and is a cooperative effort of Greater Lynn Senior Services, Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development, All Care Resources, and the residents of Caggiano Plaza.  A supportive aide from All Care VNA available 24 hours a day for emergency assistance, a daily meal served in the dining room, medication reminders, and social activities

Ages Served:  60+ years                      

Eligibility restrictions: Must be either elderly, over 60 years of age, or disabled

Hours of operation:  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm; Tuesdays, 8:00am - 7:00pm; Fridays, 8:00am - 12:30pm

Services:  Various free activities are offered for residents including trips to museums, cinemas, and dinner shows.  Wall Plaza provides health programs including guest speakers, an RN who provides foot care every other month, and a wellness clinic available once a month.

Ages Served:  62+ years                     

Eligibility restrictions:  Must be either elderly, over 62 years of age, or disabled

Hours of operation:  Resident coordinator is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesdays 8:00am - 7:00pm, and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:30pm
